Independent Sexual Advisor Service

The ISVA ( Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) service supports Young People (male and female) from 14-25 who have experienced recent or historic sexual violence or abuse. You do not have to have reported to the police. ISVA offer advice and support around reporting to the police, safety planning, accessing sexual health services, counselling and any other support you may have following a sexual assault.

Counselling

Space2 counselling is a specialised service for young women who have been affected by any form of unwanted sexual experience.

• Space2 offers free counselling to young women from the age of 14 to18. Counselling can be short or long term, up to 52 sessions.

• Counselling can be a safe place to explore issues such as feeling unsure about a sexual experience, feeling frightened, angry, guilty or confused about rape, going through a court case or managing the effects of sexual abuse.

• Whether the sexual experience happened recently or a long time ago Space2 counselling can be a place to feel understood.
